Gratitude - my first steps

Despite what my head has been telling me this week, I have a lot to be grateful for, including that:
  • I am loved,
  • I can take responsibility for my behaviour, and for my happiness,
  • the www. is full of inspiration for me,
  • I have enough - I am enough,
  • tears make me feel so much better,
  • I can be the one who learns the most when I am sharing with a sponsee,
  • my bad moods are never permanent, and I don't have to accept them,
  • I continue to witness miracles and beauty in my life,
  • this is my life, no one elses, so it doesn't matter what other people have, are or do,
  • it's ok to be imperfect, to make mistakes, that I can behave badly and say sorry,
  • I am learning more about who  I am each day,
  • my unamanageability is a reminder that I am not in control,
  • there is always hope in my life, even when I can't feel it,
  • and my HP is always looking out for me, and knows  what is best for me.
Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make you a far happier and more productive person. Dr. David M. Burns
